I submitted this painting triptych to the De Young Fall College Night show, and it ended up getting into the show and even got chosen as the lead image for the satellite show at the Art Institute. I'm pretty stoked about it, because this is the first semi-monumental art accomplishment I've had while living in San Francisco. I had another piece get into the Spring College Night show, but this is better :)
Also, my dear friend Charlotte and I will be partnering up to begin a series of illustrations, prints, paintings, and other fun crafty assorted items under the name Wishingwell Illustrations! I'm super stoked to get this going. Here's a rough draft of our logo:
